AI Second Brain for Daily Agent Assistance
Every time you open an AI chat, you have to introduce your company, clients and projects again, and nothing from the conversation is kept. An AI second brain solves this. You organize your business knowledge into a clearly structured knowledge base, and the AI agent reads it before every task and writes back to it afterwards. The knowledge base becomes the AI’s long-term memory, and the AI becomes an assistant that sorts your meetings, follows up on tasks and drafts emails every day.
This 6-hour lecture guides you step by step through building your own second brain. The knowledge base consists of plain Markdown files stored on your own computer, so your data always stays yours. The approach draws on the practical work of BenAI on AI agents and second brains.
Core components
- Knowledge base: Markdown notes managed in Obsidian, organized by company background, projects, people, daily notes and tasks, and linked to each other.
- Instructions: a CLAUDE.md file that tells the AI how the knowledge base is structured, where each type of information belongs and which tone to write in.
- Skills and plugins: reusable workflows such as writing meeting notes, creating weekly reports and drafting emails, connected to tools like email and calendar.
- Daily operation: scheduled tasks let the assistant create a morning brief and follow up on to-dos every day, without you having to remind it.
